Pursuant to Order No. 65-P of the Director of the LLP “National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research” dated September 23, 2026, “On Conducting an Internal Corruption Risk Analysis,” an internal corruption risk analysis (ICRA) will be conducted at the LLP “National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research” for one month starting from October 12, 2026.
The IACRA will be conducted in accordance with Paragraph 5 of Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption,” the Model Rules for Conducting Internal Anti-Corruption Risk Assessments approved by Order No. 12 of the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption dated October 19, 2016, as well as pursuant to the Plan for Conducting Internal Anti-Corruption Risk Assessments in the committees, territorial divisions, subordinate institutions and organizations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 27, 2026.
The purpose of the IACRA is to identify and eliminate the causes and conditions contributing to the emergence and implementation of corruption risks in the activities of the Company, as well as to develop measures aimed at preventing and minimizing such risks.
The assessment will cover the following areas:
·  organizational and managerial activities;
·  personnel management;
·  procurement and financial and economic activities;
·  scientific activities.
In this regard, employees of the Company are requested to provide information on possible corruption risks, corruption-prone factors, deficiencies in existing procedures, as well as proposals for their elimination and minimization.
The information provided will be reviewed as part of the IACRA.
